This is going to be a long story Im afraid I have to read some text files into a SQL database. Install Provider .12.0' title='Install Provider .12.0' />Cannot initialize the data source object of OLE DB provider Microsoft. I can see it in the Linked Server Provider Strings in the drop down too. The Ole Db provider MSDAORA has not been registered. I have Oracle client 8i I can add linked server and map logins to it but when I try to test the connection I get this error.

I figured out some alternatives, but now I am trying to add Oracle linked server on Windows 2. Hi all,I had fun going on working with Oracle on Windows 7 6.
